Leak Testing

Material exposed to a vacuum system designed to operate in the range of 133 uPa (10~ mm Hg) should:

have a vapor pressure lower than the design pressure

always be capable of being baked

have porous surfaces to prevent the possibility of creating virtual leakage

have a vapor pressure higher than the design pressure
