API 653

A tank bottom lining with a measured thickness of 15 mils should be tested with :-

A high voltage detector in accordance with NACE RP0188;

A low voltage (67.5 volts) wet sponge detector;

A calibrated Ultrasonic tester;

An Eddy Current lift-off detector;
